The Tomorrow Lab is an exciting creative digital agency located in Belfast with great people and great clients. Part of The Pierce Partnership, we provide digital marketing services to clients operating on both a local and global scale.

To meet the needs of our growing client base we are recruiting for a digital designer. As a creative digital designer, this is a great opportunity for you to make your mark in the digital creative industry in the UK and Ireland.

You’ll work a 40 hour week, and within reason, you can tell us what start and finish times you prefer, how long you want to take for lunch, and we like to be flexible regarding taking time off.


Title: Digital Designer

Job Purpose: To develop creative campaigns from concept to completion for our clients’ online marketing channels.

Responsible to: Head of Digital Marketing

  • Develop and implement visual creative campaigns for a range of online channels for our clients from concept to completion to help achieve the clients’ objectives
  • Work comfortably with the client and internal team to develop creative briefs, mood boards and style guides to translate a client’s goals and objectives to creative design concepts for the web.
  • Collaborate with our digital marketing team to bring campaign ideas to fruition ac-cording to your creative vision and the client’s goals and objectives.
  • Create visuals and interactive content for our client’s social media channels.
  • To create and implement static and interactive ad creative for online marketing channels, including client owned and paid for space.
  • Identify and share opportunities for improving and increasing the value of digital marketing for clients.
  • Provide regular content for The Tomorrow Lab blog and contribute positively to our overall web and social media presence.
  • Maintain the highest level of communication and service at all times with clients.


  • Provide assistance and support to other members of the team as may be necessary from time to time to meet customer demands, specifically the social media and PPC team.
  • Establish excellent working relationships with team members within the agency and across the partnership.
  • Contribute to our successful series of digital marketing events, ‘The Tomorrow Lab Presents’.
  • Implement and maintain best practice in communication at all times with customers and colleagues.
  • Provide regular structured feedback to enable constant improvement of service levels.
  • Ensure that all work carried out is in line with the company’s strive for continuous improvement.
  • Any other reasonable duties as required, or at the request of management.



  • Creative thinker with strong design portfolio
  • Full proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign)
  • Experience of creating content for social media channels
  • Ability to interpret, communicate and implement a client brief
  • Experience of developing online campaign creative from concept to completion
  • Experience in digital ad design both static and interactive
  • Good presentation skills
  • Shows initiative and can prioritise activities on multiple projects with minimal supervision.
  • Can work to tight deadlines and quick turnarounds
  • Great attention to detail, spelling and grammar
  • Keep up to date with the latest digital design trends
  • Energetic and ambitious team player.
  • Self-motivated and with a pro-active and positive attitude.
  • Possesses a good sense of humour
  • Professional appearance.
  • Excellent communicator (verbal, visual & written).
  • Good general level of education.


  • Degree in Interactive or Graphic Design or a related field.
  • 2 Years + experience in an agency or similar digital design role
  • Knowledge of designing for the web with front-end HTML & CSS coding skills
  • Understands the principle of user experience (UX) design, and designing for a digitised audience
  • Basic understanding of motion design
  • Photography and videography skills
  • Solid knowledge of the social media space and a regular user of social media channels
  • Comfortable dealing with clients
  • Experience designing emailers, infographics, and campaign landing pages.
